IDIOM - "To Shoot for the Stars" / "Shooting Stars":
"Shoot for the stars" means to set high goals for yourself. If you are a dancer, and you want to shoot for the stars, then you would practice every day and try to get into the best dance academies--basically you would do anything you could do to become a great dancer.
There is a great quote: "Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars."
This means, aim high, because even if you don't quite get where you're going, you'll get pretty close.
