Informal "Be quiet!"; "Stop that noise!" "Stop doing that!"
Something that you say in order to tell someone to stop doing something that is annoying you.
Ex: "Knock it off, will you? I can't work with all that noise."
"The boys were making too much noise, so I told them to knock it off."
Usage notes: usually used as an order: "Knock it off! I'm tired of your teasing."
