Choppy Sentences

Post  Vincent Law on Tue May 28, 2013 5:24 am

Fix short, choppy sentences by answering the 5 W’s and H (Who? What? Where? When? Why? How?)

Sentence: "She plays with her friends."

- Who? "Mary plays with her friends."

- What? "Mary’s plays basketball with her friends."

- Where? "Mary plays basketball with her friends at the school gym."

- When? "Every Saturday afternoon, Mary plays basketball with her friends at the school gym."

- Why? "Every Saturday afternoon, Mary plays basketball with her friends at the school gym for exercise and fun."

- How? "Every Saturday afternoon, Mary plays basketball enthusiastically with her friends at the school gym for exercise and fun."

**Be careful not to overdo it. A variety of sentence length is important too.
