English idioms are everywhere, in books, comic books, TV series, real conversation, you name it!

- It’s no use crying over spilt milk:
"I was offered the job, but I turned it down, I should have taken that job! It’s no use crying over spilt milk! I’ll find a new one."
- Walk on eggshells:
"I’m walking on eggshells with my new boss."
- Take something with a pinch (grain) of salt:
"I don’t believe him! If I were you, I’d take it with a pinch/grain of salt."

"His lecture certainly gave me food for thought."
- Have egg on one’s face:
"I made a big mistake at the conference and I ended up with egg on my face."
- Piece of cake:
"I passed the exam with flying colors, it was a piece of cake!"
