Grimm

A homicide detective in present-day Portland, Oregon learns from his aunt that he is a descendant of a group of hunters known as "Grimms," who fight to keep humanity safe from the supernatural creatures of the world. Upon learning of his destiny, he has to protect every living soul from the sinister storybook characters that have infiltrated the real world.

It's interesting how the two show you are introducing us to are about fairy tales. Once upon the time is more focused with characters (Snow White, Pinocchio, Cinderella...). And Grimm is more focused on the monsters (Werewolves, ogres, giant bees...).

I found the first episodes good, but now they even better, and we start to see an arc for the season 1, with characters that we will hopefully meet again.
I have a guess that Griffin, the partner of Nick Burkhardt, is not completely human. I may be wrong, but his name...
